Q: How old do our kids have to be?

A: We recommend three years and up. We have one method of fishing that works well with young children.

Q: Do we need a fishing license and if so how much do they cost?

A: Yes, each person 16 years and older will need a Missouri fishing license and a trout stamp. Children under the age of 16 only need to have the trout stamp. The daily license is $7 and the trout stamp is $7 as well.

Q: What do we need to bring with us?

A: We recommend bringing a light jacket or a sweat shirt for early morning and late evening trips (even in the summer), sun screen, and any snacks or beverages you like.

Q: Can we drink beer?

A: Yes, you can drink beer.

Q: Can we keep fish?

A: Yes. Each person may keep 4 trout per day, one of which may be a brown trout 20 inches or greater. The rainbow trout have a slot limit on the upper end of the lake. They must be released if they are over 12" and under 20". All brown trout must be over 20".
